Artist’s descriptions
-
Humanity’s advancement in this world is a tragic cycle of life an death - an ouroboros.
We destroy in order to survive and thrive, until we destroy to the point where survival is no longer possible. By destroying our world, we are slowly destroying ourselves.
As the work sits in an exhibition, the flowers slowly decay - putting an end to the cycle.
-
Eat your feelings was a part of small series where the medium used was baking - artworks displayed different feelings, good and bad, that were in the end consumed.
-
“The collective” is a fictive meta piece exploring a future society where classes (social/cultural) have been abolished through restricting individualism.
It was originally displayed as an installation - the zine was open on a desktop computer, an “FCPU”-coffee mug half empty on the desk, post it-notes about meetings and clearance levels scattered across.
It could also be accessed on your own device through scanning a QR-code of a poster. Contents password protected but hints were given in the poster itself.
